Thomas Kingsley Troupe

Thomas Kingsley Troupe had one directive for his new site: classic. I worked with him to build a clean, minimal site to showcase his creative works in writing, film, and photography. All of the content is managed through WordPress.

I was fortunate to have Jared build my website for me. As someone who knows nothing about the behind-the-scenes stuff for web design, Jared was infinitely patient when answering my questions and listening to ideas I had for the site. He’s got a great eye for detail and produced a design that was far and away better than I could have hoped for: A clean, simple look and feel to the site, easy to maintain, and eye-catching. Even more impressive? The speed at which he delivered the goods was amazing. With hours, Jared was presenting me with logo ideas, page layouts and suggestions for what my website would deliver. I actually found it hard to choose!

Bottom line? Jared did amazing work on this project. As an up-and-coming children’s author, I proudly direct people to my website. Hats off to Mr. Ringold for a extremely satisfying experience.

Hot Waffles

Orange County, CA comedy band Hot Waffles needed a website redesign on a tight deadline. I worked with them to delivery a WordPress-based site that allows them to easily update content.

“I desperately needed an upgrade to my old website but I only had some vague ideas of what I was looking for. Jared was able to create a website for me that looked great, had all of the functionality I needed and completed it in a very short time frame before my deadline. Anjela – Middle Eastern Dance

Dancer Anjela wanted a site that was beautiful, yet simple. The site uses Middle Eastern art and patterns to add detail to the graphically-rich design. Subtle fades in the navigation bar add to the richness.

Possible Oscar

Nerd rock band Possible Oscar required a flexible website that could handle regular news updates, as well as many media-specific features like audio, video and photos. The site uses WordPress to manage all of the content and employes custom fields to reduce the number of places information needs to be entered.

Visual inspiration was taken from 19th century children’s literature, and many elements inspired by the era are used throughout to bring a cohesive look to the site. The audio page uses a custom Flash and JavaScript-based music player with a playlist that is easily managed through the WordPress interface.
